Exploring Zanzibar

Next on our To-Do-List was Stone Town. Some things never change. As we entered the street, there was a Zanzibarian to offer his service. They never stop asking and we never stop saying, "no thank you, Asanti Sana" Strolling in these narrow streets, browsing the little shops, will always be fascinating.

You can’t go to Zanzibar and not visit Freddy Mercury's bar. Pizzas and beer were on the menu.

See the wise words by an unknown author.

One of the most interesting things still in Zanzibar is their well kept doors of solid wood, with beautiful carvings and copper detail.

At the local market, they sell from a needle to any car parts. Food, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and juice pressed out from sugarcane.
