Bihane National Park

Our next sleep over was in Bihane National Park.
Vilanculos was our first meeting with the ocean, and a FIRST for Joseph, who has never seen the ocean in his life.

We are now 1130 km from home. Hans arranged for fresh fish and ENORMOUS PRAWNS as a treat.  Fresh fish just taste soooo much better. Wimcar was our "Chef" for the evening and he did an excellent job.

Inhasorro was only 100km away. Goody Villas was our next destination. Must say it is really a LITTLE PIECE of HEAVEN.

Hans arranged for us to take a boat trip to PARADISE ISLAND with Charles. We had to hold our own BON VOYAGE as nobody else was around to wish us luck as we waved them Goodbye.

What amazed us were the different shades of TURQUOISE seen in the water. White beach and Turquoise water, with the evidence of "THE SUPER RICH’S PLAYGROUND" know stripped from all its glory. All that’s left is a Ruin.

Wimcar, Chris and Hans went out fishing. They had a very successful outing, catching 12 fish, all catch-and-release.  Hans was the star of the day, his first fish at sea. Boy was that a big one and a fight to remember.  Hans won the fight with the KING FISH, which weighed 20kg more or less. Just have a look at the photo.

We ended our stay in Inhassoro with Crayfish.

We crossed the magnificent bridge over the Save River, Paid our TOLL FEES of 20 Meticas and sent on our merry way. The Officials are all friendly and very helpful.
