We departed from Belfast at 7:30 am to embark on
our 3 month Safari. The aim is to witness the Migration in the Serengeti and
the Gorillas in Uganda.
Our first stop was for a coffee in Lydenburg. It was freezing cold.
We carried on to Phalaborwa where we did our last minute
shopping.
At Hat & Creek we stopped in for a pricy lunch.
Our first overnight was in the Kruger National Park’s
Shingwedzi Camp. Everyone woke up early the next morning and we made our way to
our border crossing at Pafuri Border Post.
What a pleasant crossing, the best we ever experienced. The officers were
surprisingly professional and very efficient.
We arrived safely at Shingwedzi and set-up camp.
Our rig is quite impressive, if I may say so myself!
